I like keeping things simple in general because it makes it easier on me. Although, complex things do spice it up a bit, I just prefer to take things simple and easy at times.
Whenever I’m outside of home I always get this question… “Are you duh Vietnamese?” If you guys know me I am not Vietnamese I am Filipino. Not that I have anything wrong with this to me, it just seems funny because people mistake me for being Vietnamese it just happens you know… all the time haha. I mean I do spend a lot of time in the sun because I play ball and I do track but I just don’t really get all that dark. If it wasn’t for my light skinned I wouldn’t be questioned so much but I don’t have a problem with it so its all good!
For some odd reason… I wanna take a girl out to signal hill with me one night (or a few) to play a serenade with my uke and catch some good vibes.
Well last night was interesting, I was keeping someone company because they couldn’t sleep. Unfortunately the person I was talking to couldn’t fall asleep so at 4am, me being the kind hearted fellow I keep her company till its time to get ready for school. Heres the catch, I did not have school today apparently it was a furlough, I don’t have the greatest memory but I don’t remember hearing anything about a furlough for today lol. The funny part is I get dropped off in an area so that I can see the front of the school where people are entering, and I noticed the school was wiped clean and deserted and yeah I was in total shock. I got kinda scared so I crossed the street to get to school and I thought that they had started school already but good thing that wasn’t true. After being scared for a bit I went up to the front of the school where the benches were and ask a couple who go to western if we had school and yeaup we didn’t, I just walked back home in shame being the only one going to school XP. Interesting morning don’t you think?
- me: hey umm is there school today?
- western person #1: no there isn't
- western person #2: yeah there isn't you should go back and get some sleep
- me: omg, holy shit!
- her: Good night!
- me: Night
- her: That's it..
- me: what
- her: No smiley or heart
- me: boo I love you, sleep tight :) <3
- her: Aww, thats more like it! Sweet dreams! <3
I was first taught this saying as a freshmen and didn’t really look into or saw its meaning until recently. I’ve noticed that anything you do starts mentally. The body will be there as a tool but whats commanding that is your head. It just goes to show that if you’ve got a strong mentality nearly anything and everything is accomplish able. Just the thought of knowing that, encourages me to do better in everything I do, realizing that there is hope if you just set your mind to it with sheer determination and discipline you’ll be on your path to success for anything.
